Division 3

STA Learn to Swim Age 2 years and older

 No parent in the pool

Swimmers in the Division 3 program have either moved over from Division 2 (now swimming without their parents) or have only started the swimming program and never had swimming lessons before. Swimmers will stay in the Division 3 program until they graduate and move over to CLUB.

For children, swimming is a fun form of exercise that should be introduced at an early age.

Swimming builds confidence and self-reliance; it has also shown that swimmers tend to be good academic achievers, as it teaches children to set goals and work hard to achieve them.

Like walking, learning to swim is an ability that is part of growing up.

Learning to swim should be a fun and stress-free experience

Division 3 is the foundation course for new children ages 2 years and older starting with swimming lessons for the first time.  The focus being to get these children swimming as soon as possible, we still focus on safety and survival while making the experience of learning enjoyable and fun.

It is recommended for children to attend lessons twice a week for best results and progress, also to develop confidence, competence and endurance in our new swimmers.
